Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Xi’an, China, XINGTONG is an engineering-driven manufacturer specializing in drill bits and downhole performance tools for oil & gas, mining, water well and trenchless drilling applications.

Our drill bit production line integrates 20+ years of petroleum engineering experience, combining automated machining with diamond composite technology. Equipped with 38 sets of CNC equipment and 12 quality inspection stations, we achieve annual output of 15,000+ PDC bits, serving 300+ oilfield projects worldwide.

2016 — Company Established
The company was established and began field trials of drill bits in the Sulige Oil and Gas Field.
2017 — Field Trials Expanded
Drill bit field trials were expanded to additional operating areas, including Longdong, Yulin, Shenmu and Yan’an.
2018 — Technical Services Launched
The performance of XINGTONG drill bits received positive recognition from customers, and drill bit technical services were fully launched across the Changqing region.
2019 — Premium PDC Material Authorization
Obtained authorization for diamond composite materials from Schlumberger (USA), with related products entering the Changqing and Chuanqing markets.
2020 — Project Operations ExpandedEstablished multiple project departments across the Ordos Basin. The drill bit technical service business continued to grow steadily, achieving cumulative breakthroughs across more than 120 drilling performance indicators.
2021 — Strategic Cooperation & Production Expansion
Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Wuhua Energy, a subsidiary of China North Industries Group. In the same year, the Tianjin production base was established.
2022 — High-Tech Enterprise & Integrated Drilling Services
Recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise. An integrated project department was established to provide comprehensive drilling technical services, including drill bits, mud motors, drilling fluids and directional drilling.
2023 — API Certification & Business Growth
Obtained API Q1 and API Spec 7-1 certifications, while both technical services and manufacturing operations continued to expand.
2024 — Production & International Business Expansion
The production base reached an annual output of approximately 1,000 drill bits. A dedicated international trade department was established, and the company was shortlisted as a first-tier supplier for 47 PDC drill bit categories within CNPC Group.
2026 — International Business Development
Expanded production capacity and established a dedicated international business team to support overseas drilling contractors, distributors and project partners.
